Good team, good vision, excellent technology.
Too busy, too many meetings.
The Facebook recruitment team was helpful throughout the process. They let you know what to expect in the coming steps. The interview consisted of a phone screen, a technical interview, and then a full-day virtual on-site.
The process began with a recruiter phone call. It was followed by three or four technical interviews and one personal interview. It then took a few weeks to receive an actual offer. The recruiter was not great at communicating the timeline.
Great start, until first coding interview where I was asked to implement quickselect. I refused. It's baffling that they still rely on quickselect as a criterion to select worthy engineers to work on metaverse. What a dumb idea. I guess I'm not a cul
