I applied for a summer internship program and was referred by a Microsoft employee. Several weeks later, I was invited to an on-campus interview.
It took 30 minutes and included:
- Two technical questions (one coding problem and one about operating systems)
- A discussion about my resume experience
About a month after that, I received an on-site interview invitation.
Questions
The first question is to find a duplicate number in an array.
The second question is to describe how a mutex works.
