Process
Avoid interviewing with Microsoft if you have more than 5 years of experience. I had been through their hiring event and received an offer, but was disappointed with the lower-level title and salary. I tried to negotiate, but HR said they have many engineers eager to join Microsoft, so I shouldn't waste their time.
Microsoft, if you want to hire experienced individuals, please respect their careers too. Sorry, but there are many good companies that value their employees!
