Pros: This is a company everybody knows. There's pride in the tradition and culture of this company. I grew up with Microsoft products and always wondered about working for them. Compensation is pretty decent as a place right out of college, and you do get a little awe-struck as you are working inside the Microsoft campus.

Cons: The location is just too expensive for people coming right out of college to afford. Especially with the house price boom, I could only rent a small one-bedroom apartment in the town. As far as leadership goes, there should be some more infrastructure in place for a more open and innovative way for us to work together. Microsoft should not lose to Google of the world.
