Pros

Diversity in product offerings, people, and opinions.

Access to amazing people, but talent appears to be gradually getting diluted.

On-campus shopping, restaurants, banks, etc.

Wonderful sports in spring and summer.

Cons

Politics appear to be on the rise.

Competing priorities, duplicative efforts, and lack of coordination across teams. Easy to get lost, and loyalty to people is becoming more important than loyalty to the company.

Advice to Management

Watch your employees' backs and make sure their development is your top priority. Too many managers are busy feeding themselves, leaving employees to find creative ways to advance. Employees gravitate towards short-term results and opportunities for visibility. Team priorities emphasize local maxima over global benefit.
