Pros

Money, prestige. And it makes for a great feather on your resume. And at least back in the day, the stock compensation was terrific.

Cons

Giant corporation that moves exceedingly slowly. You'll also be a cog in a giant machine. Plus, with all those moving parts going into each software release, it takes an inordinate amount of time to go from project start to finish.

Advice to Management

Find a way to adopt a much more flexible approach to development.
