Pros
  1. Great work-life balance with WFH facility.
  2. High salary at the time of joining.
Cons
  1. With an increasing headcount in APAC regions, there are fewer chances of getting promotions. Only lateral moves within the company are possible.

  2. Merit increases are extremely low, typically 1.5% to 2%, which was the case even when there was no increment in 2023.

  3. Recruitment at the director level actually has the scope of a team leader/manager.

  4. There are too many chefs in the kitchen, leading to limited opportunities for promotion.

  5. Almost all strategic decisions are made in the US.

Advice to Management
  1. Please give a proper merit increase. Please consider the increase in living costs indexing. At the moment, it is extremely low.

  2. Giving such a low merit increase and saying that we are giving an additional one-time reward to employees is a bad motivating strategy. It's just a trick and nothing else.

  3. Consider employees for vertical transition on applying for current openings as the norm rather than rare.
