Pros

Good salary, good benefits.

Private office for each person.

Cons

Depending on the team you land in, you may have different experiences. Based on the review system, people negatively compete, and it can get political. Instead of trying to change the world, you might end up being a politician and forget about teamwork.

There are many failing teams, but because of other good teams, the company still stands. So, it is very crucial to know the team you are joining before you accept the offer.

Also, make sure you ask about the review system because it will surprise you if you are a team player who sacrifices, whereas the review system is based on individual shining and visibility.

If you join one of those teams, you will end up spending more than 50% of your time on the review system, which takes your productivity and meaning the entire team down because it is the same story for all.

There is a rumor they will change this broken review system in the following years, but there is no proof of that yet.

Advice to Management

A good manager should take care of all these instead of putting it on everybody's shoulders. Anything that brings morale and productivity down and kills motivation and innovation should be avoided. This review system is against all the good aspects of teamwork, and a good manager should filter the team, not infect it with this.
