Regardless of what people say, it is still a good place. Google and MSFT today (2011) are essentially the same. MSFT may be more flexible.
Not a startup, big company, like any other, probably better than most.
Folks need another 15 years of good benefits before kids are ready for college, so don't ruin the company.
