Highly demanding. Software engineers are expected to do DevOps and Escalation Engineering.
Dynamics engineering management at Microsoft in Fargo needs to stop punishing senior engineers with a promotion ceiling and all of the dirty work, while new, junior engineers are given cool projects and fast promotions (which is what they want, so they can relocate to Redmond).
