Work-life balance at Microsoft is emphasized. The work is challenging. There are smart people everywhere you look. You'll learn a time-tested system of engineering practices.
Upper management has yet to prove that they can adapt to the changing market. The company is getting older and less exciting than some of its competitors.
Encourage more creativity from all levels and positions. There are many, many smart people here, and a few of them probably have great ideas. We should allow everyone the opportunity to express them and see them through when appropriate.
