Heavy bias against laterals. Laterals don't get promotions and bikes despite working much better than precious, easily promoted, and overvalued college grads (a.k.a. freshers).

Managers retaliate if you give negative feedback.

Advice to Management

Start valuing laterals. Stop taking negative feedback personally.
