As a new hire at a low level, I was discriminated against in the assignment of worthy work. I'm guessing it is easy for them to justify the discrimination by citing my level. No promotions for the same reason.
Microsoft felt, to me, like a sugar trap that screwed up my career.
Be careful of joining a team with terrible seniors who are stuck there. You need nothing more for a screwed up career at Microsoft.
