Cons

No documentation culture. A lot of veterans focus on knowing the right people in the area and talking to them to get information. "Code is the best documentation" is the standard response if this issue is raised. Small and simple amounts of work require huge amounts of time due to this. There is slow growth in terms of technical expertise, and lots of jargon is thrown around. The learning curve in terms of company culture is steep. Salaries can be better when compared with similarly leveled companies.

Advice to Management

We need to provide challenging, innovative, and intriguing work to employees. Brand value can only drag for so long. Brainwashing young people to convince them the work is the coolest should be reduced.
