They have a lot of "perks" on paper.

There is a strong feeling that the company doesn't care about you.

They will cut funding to small things that improve employee morale at a moment's notice.

Management also regularly forces you to sit through promotional Microsoft videos with cheerful music to try to convince you that the company is ethical and 'saving the world' (they literally say that sometimes!).

But when employees raise concerns about their dodgy deals with the arms industry, oil companies, and surveillance companies, they are silenced.

Stop trying to brainwash employees with promotional videos; it doesn't work. We know about the dodgy contracts that you're signing. Just let us do our jobs and maybe actually listen to our concerns.
