The first interview is a home assignment with two LeetCode-style questions. You have about 1 hour for the two questions. Mostly data structures, string manipulation, arrays, and basic algorithms.

I applied to a data science job and put my resume in their candidate pool. Later, I was contacted by a manager from MS's experimentation platform. I then had a phone interview with a SWE, and next was flown out to Seattle for an onsite interview.
