Process
The interview process was on point. While there were many interview steps, they were really well organized.
All interviewers were engaged, punctual, and very kind. I can't recall the precise number of interview steps, but it was definitely longer than average.

Fast-growing company with skilled engineers
Engineering Manager • Current Employee

Pros: MongoDB is growing a lot. It is well-known by everyone in the technology industry.
I believe the product is unique – a data developer platform, not just a DB.
The company offers a great working model (hybrid, in-office, remote).
It embraces lots of Amazonian cultures but, at the same time, it cares for employees similarly to companies like Google or Facebook.
Recent joining of Jim Scharf (from AWS DDB) makes things even more promising.
Engineering quality is good.
Cons: - As the company grows fast, there are team and work processes that need improvement.

Pros: Technology is requested by companies, so it's a fair addition to one's CV.
Cons: Work/life balance is horrible, under the promise to become rich by golden handcuffs of stock options. Toxic culture at all levels; the aim is to burn out people in a couple of years at most.
