Excellent place to work, create, learn, and be promoted from within
Senior Software Engineer • Current Employee
August 25, 2021
Pros: Get to work on extremely interesting backend / distributed system challenges.
Interact with users who are engineers as well.
Choose from a variety of tech stacks.
Big promote-from-within culture.
Be able to shift around the company horizontally onto new and important challenges.
Cons: Dealing with public perceptions from many years ago that still taint the company's reputation as a safe platform, even though the product has matured a lot since then.

Great company that cares about its employees' success as much as its own. Great people

Pros: Great people.
Great projects (challenging and interesting).
Great opportunities (moving from one team to another - possibility to lead your own projects).
Great work-life balance (nobody will bother you after 5 PM. Slack and emails are very quiet).
Very well-structured onboarding, very well-structured projects and tasks.
Making products for software engineers by software engineers is a pretty cool thing to work on!
Cons: It sounds silly, but just like others have said, there are not many actual cons to put out there (at least from my perspective).

Great Balance, Growing Pains
Senior Software Engineer • Current Employee

Pros: Good work-life balance.
Freedom to work on projects that interest you.
Management takes feedback seriously and tries to improve.
Cons: The company is still growing, so some processes aren’t perfect. Not all managers are equally interested in leading; some move into the position because they have to.
