I was asked an easy-to-medium LeetCode level problem, but it was modified. The interviewer asked a bunch of follow-up questions. Some of these questions were unclear, leaving me unsure of what the interviewer was asking for. While the original question itself wasn't difficult, making mistakes on the follow-up questions could lead to failure.
Some of the follow-up questions were reasonable. However, others were too vague to understand what the interviewer was looking for, and it felt like a shot in the dark to try and figure out their intent.
