Process
One behavioral interview, one technical phone screen, and an onsite interview. The first two interviews were fairly laid back, and the technical phone screen wasn't too challenging. The onsite interview, however, went into much more detail and covered more topics. Overall, I enjoyed the interview experience more than most because they were fairly upfront about what they expected from their internship candidates.

Pros: 10gen is not too big. As an intern, we had lunch and question sessions with the founders and CEO. They gave us choices for our project and hooked us up with mentors. All of the projects were real work that is important to the company. Everyone is friendly; you can just go up and talk to them. They had intern events like movies, laser tagging, etc., every week.
Cons: Doesn't have the crazy perks like a free cafeteria, haircuts, or buses, etc., that you get at big companies like Facebook or Google.

Pros: The perks of the job are fantastic, but the best part of working here is the caliber of engineers that I get to work with every day. Most engineers that I meet here are very smart and competent at their job, and more than willing to help. Coming out of college straight into this job, that was very important and helped me a lot.
Cons: None that I can think of.
