Process
I met MongoDB recruiters at a university job fair and applied.
I received an email asking for a brief HR call in a week.
After passing the HR call, I had a 30-minute technical phone interview where I answered coding questions.
Two weeks later, they informed me I had made it to the final round of interviews.
This round consisted of three video calls with a variety of technical questions.
An offer was extended three days later.

Had a great summerSoftware Engineering • Current EmployeePalo Alto, California, United StatesAugust 7, 2013Pros: 10gen is not too big. As an intern, we had lunch and question sessions with the founders and CEO. They gave us choices for our project and hooked us up with mentors. All of the projects were real work that is important to the company. Everyone is friendly; you can just go up and talk to them. They had intern events like movies, laser tagging, etc., every week.Cons: Doesn't have the crazy perks like a free cafeteria, haircuts, or buses, etc., that you get at big companies like Facebook or Google.
