A consultancy called, claiming they were HR from Tech Mahindra, and then scheduled interviews.
There were two rounds of technical interviews, each 30 minutes long, which I cleared. In the second round, the interviewer told me to wait for good news.
The HR round happened after 10 days of waiting. After the HR round, I was asked to go for the background verification process, which I allowed.
After clearing digital background verification, they started calling me daily, promising to release the offer letter.
Suddenly, they asked for another round of discussion. While HR had stated it was not an interview but a briefing about the project, roles, and responsibilities, it surprisingly turned out to be a completely technical round with an outdated stack. The interviewer was very rude and unwilling to allow me to think and respond to scenarios.
He started the round by saying it was a "Rapid Fire" round. Who conducts interviews like this? It's not "Big Boss" or "Kaun Banega Karodpati".
They are only good at ghosting and ultimately do not release any offer. The HR lied to an extreme level. I have never seen such unprofessional behavior where they promise to release an offer letter and then have the audacity to conduct another round.
Stay away from such unprofessional recruiters.
Will conduct a Rapid Fire round.
