5-stage interview.
I passed the first two easily, meeting with HR and the development head.
I was handed a technical test in Angular. I asked the recruiter if I could use my own framework, as I wasn't familiar with Angular. She wrote back, stating it was completely fine to use whatever framework I wanted. I completed the test in Next.js/React.js, as that's my area of expertise.
After three weeks, I followed up with little to no response from the recruiter or dev team. I received an email three weeks later: "Sorry, the dev was on PTO, and you've failed the tech test because you failed to read the instructions and didn't do it in the right framework," despite the recruiter and developer both confirming it would be fine.
Extremely unprofessional, considering what I would expect from a company like Motorola. They didn't even look at my work and held me on for three weeks, only to tell me they couldn't be bothered to look at it, essentially making up an excuse.
They now refuse to respond to emails or calls. STAY AWAY.
Basic STAR stuff, it doesn't matter as they won't respond to the tech test.
