First, there was a phone screen with HR. Then, HR scheduled two tech phone interviews.
After that, there were four following phone interviews.
I don't know why there are so many phone interviews. All of the interviews are ordinary ones, asking both technical and behavioral questions.

Pros: Because NetApp puts great emphasis on its "Great Place to Work" status, it offers some interesting but little-used perks: an in-house gym, 40 hours of paid volunteer time, etc.
Cons: Big company problems include ineffective IT and confusing HR policies, such as a forced unpaid company closure during the Christmas-New Year's break.

Pros: It's a pretty comfortable environment. The engineering organization is full of good, smart people, who generally want to do the right thing. Senior leadership is pretty good.
Cons: It's become a fairly mature company, with some legacy baggage. A lot of people have gotten comfortable and are content to run on autopilot, not doing the best work they are capable of. Communication between groups could be better (though, really, it is probably better or on par with most organizations of its size).
