There are 4 steps.
HR (cultural) asked me about expected salary, so you have to be ready with this. If the salary you want is outside of their range, they will reject you on this interview.
Manager Interview - They asked me about my background and then showed me some features of New Relic for 30 minutes. It seemed like an advertisement.
They then sent me "homework" that was supposed to take 2-3 hours, but if you want to do it right, you will need at least 6. The task is to create a client-server socket application that sends numbers. Max 5 concurrent clients and it has to process 5-6 million numbers per 10 seconds. They also want tests. It is a very boring university-style exercise.
The last part (I didn't reach) is yet another technical interview. I have no information on what they ask there.
I spent most of my free time during the weekend doing their homework, and then I got no reply. They essentially wasted 6 hours of my life. Don't bother with companies that send "homework"; don't work for free.
The Home Work:
Using any of the following programming languages (taking performance into consideration):
Write a server (an "Application") that opens a socket and restricts input to at most 5 concurrent clients. Clients will connect to the Application and write one or more 9-digit numbers. Each number should be followed by a server-native newline sequence, and then the client should close the connection. The Application must write a de-duplicated list of these numbers to a log file in no particular order.
