Resume goes in first, then you get a round of phone screenings, and then you do a technical interview.

The overall experience was alright. I didn't prepare much, and I regret that, but oh well.

'S all good.

They were extremely nice and pleasant to talk to. If they all have the attitude of the person I interviewed with, I would absolutely want to work there.

Cons: The culture changed since they took the company private. And it changed for the worse.

Pros: Tech skills and hybrid mode

Cons: Managers are workaholics and they expect the same from employees. Working extra hours and on weekends is normal here and a part of the work culture. Also, you have a 24*7 on-call for which you get no extra payment. In India, they are abusing legal rules and making employees work for free for these on-calls. Someone should file a legal complaint to make New Relic educated and legally compliant.

Cons: During the hiring, the HR promises a lot of perks, specially annual compensation benefit, and they would lure you to join early by stating everyone will be eligible for the apprisal cycle. After you join, the reality is too different. I am saddened to see false promises.
