Software Engineer Interview Experience

Process

The process went well overall. It took roughly a month.

Typically, the recruiting team was very quick to respond to questions, unless the question was “what’s the status of my application?” But I digress.

Things to brush up on: OOP principles, design patterns, and general problem-solving. Language doesn’t matter.

The recruiter told me to study for something completely different from what I got. After emailing them after seeing the listing reposted a week later, I never heard back. Thanks, guys!

Process Outline:

  1. Phone screening
  2. Interview with Manager
  3. Take-home coding challenge
  4. Panel interviews totaling 3-5 hours
  5. Offer (or ghosting)
