Applied online and received an invitation for a HireVue test. It consisted of a mix of coding questions, video interview questions, and essay-type questions. It was very easy for someone who is hands-on in coding and microservices architecture.

HireVue had four basic coding questions, such as palindrome strings and the two-sum problem. The video and essay questions were related to Spring Boot and microservice architecture. After clearing this round, I received a call for the interview process.

Had a group interview with two people from Oregon who were friendly and wanted to know my experience with Java, AWS, and microservices. There were no data structures, algorithms, or design questions asked. They asked very basic questions and many behavioral questions.

After clearing the round, I received a call from HR, who said I had done well in the interview but they could not match my salary expectations. They were willing to offer only 50 percent of my expected salary.

I promptly rejected the offer over the phone and communicated that I was no longer interested.

They mentioned on their website about hiring the best of the best in Bangalore but were willing to pay in the range offered by service-based companies like Infosys and TCS.
