I interviewed for a Senior Software Engineer position at Nike at the end of 2023. After four rounds of interviews, which spanned over 20 days, the HR department decided to ghost me.

For the entire course of the interview process, the feedback was very positive, to the extent where I knew I had passed a round by the end of the session itself. After all rounds concluded, the HR team simply stated they were waiting for feedback from the Development Director, which was already positive and hence led to the next HR round.

After a full week of follow-up, I was finally ghosted by HR with no feedback or result regarding the position. This is not at all what I expected from a company with such a strong brand reputation.
