Process

The interview process is very well organized. HR contacted me and explained the process and what the team is looking for in the next candidate. They went over my experience to gauge my understanding of the domain.

This was followed by a telephonic round with the manager. This round was more technical and focused on understanding why I want to work for Nutanix.

After a week, I was invited for an on-site interview. Prepare well for this round, as it will be challenging. It mostly comprises questions based on your resume and the four important pillars of Nutanix:

  • Storage
  • Linux
  • Networking
  • Virtualization

This might vary for everyone based on your experience.

All my interviewers were very understanding and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. If you clear this round, it will be followed by a telephonic call with an escalation engineer.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process and look forward to my journey at Nutanix.

Questions

  1. Make sure that you understand the infrastructure space.

  2. Troubleshooting questions (4 pillars).

  3. If you have customer-facing experience, share your best and worst interactions.
