I applied via the Nvidia website. HR soon wrote to me to set up a meeting with the team I had applied for.

There were two interviewers.

They came unprepared for the interview. One of them tried to find a code task, however, couldn't find one. Maybe they are great specialists, but bad interviewers.

They asked one Perl syntax-related question. It was a "hypothetical" question, as they called it:

Hiypothetically, can you read Perl code?

No Python-related questions were asked. No data structure-related questions were asked. No algorithms-related questions were asked. No coding tasks were assigned. No problem-solving tasks were assigned.
