I have been interviewing for Nvidia for the past four months. After receiving positive feedback for a few positions, I wasn't considered for any roles. This is totally frustrating, with last-minute emails canceling interviews or stating another candidate was found.
I believe these practices are playing with candidates. The time taken for each interview stage was close to three weeks. I have undergone eight rounds of interviews over the past four months, and this kind of process is not helping Nvidia, myself, or you.
It is really frustrating. It is such a waste of time when a company's hiring process is not well-defined. You need to respect the talent and people around the world. I know you crave the best talent, but it's not all about talent. It's about respecting interviewees and their time.
If you are looking for so much talent, why don't I see one PhD-level interviewer?
I would suggest to people interviewing here to accept other company offers and not wait for Nvidia. Let them keep craving for talent.
