Pros: Learn useful tech as a software engineer. Flexible working time. Good environment. Nice manager.

Cons: Compared to the new wave of web companies in China (Baidu, Sina, Tencent, etc.), salaries are not so competitive. Most of the time, Chinese employees are doing the same jobs as their colleagues in the US and Europe but earning only about one-third of the salary.

Pros: NVIDIA is a company working on some of the most cutting-edge verticals of our time, including gaming, automotive, animation/graphics, healthcare, AI, and more. Getting the opportunity to work with tight-knit teams on large projects provides a very steep trajectory for learning very quickly!

Cons: A relatively small employee count working on such a diverse array of tasks often results in a large number of tasks assigned to each. This is probably great in early career, but maybe difficult to handle later on.

Pros: Maybe food, shuttle, and compensation.

Cons: No respect for fellow colleagues, unkind managers, and no work-life balance. Everything is passed to the IC in the name of ownership. Management is always busy saving themselves and blaming fellow colleagues or subordinates in the name of flat culture. Even you cannot raise anonymous complaints. If you do, they will put you in front of the person. If you think about talking with HR about the system, instead of trying to fix it, they will ask you to focus on the work or say common things like you are new to the system and need time to blend into the process. Not recommended to anyone.
