Pros

If you're at the right place, you'll get good, solid, challenging work with ample time and support to complete the same and grow in the process.

Cons

Pune leadership and goals are too management-centric with very little focus on individual contributor satisfaction, retention, and compensation.

A few people from the original entity, which was taken over by Nvidia, find themselves in favor and seem non-disposable without the need of showing competence.

Advice to Management

Pune Design Center management:

Instead of repeating word-for-word what Mr. Huang has to say, try assuming leadership of the center. A lack of vision and earnest intent for the welfare of individual contributors leads to a lack of trust and motivation in the workforce. You're stuck in a two-year loop, and the only way to grow is to retain people by making them feel like they are really cared for.
