Pros: Great work-life balance - Work isn't too hectic.
Work from home - This option makes it very easy for women with families and kids.
Cons: Manager driven - If your manager does not like you, progress can be very difficult.
Missing HR - HR has no role to play whatsoever with your work, employee relations, etc.
Appraisals - Appraisals are meaningless as they do not decide your promotions, hike, etc. That is all decided by your manager.
