Absolutely chaotic. I have interviewed with other Big Tech companies, but this experience was by far the worst. Interviews were scheduled informally via email, with no actual recruiter or coordinator involved. The whole agenda seemed arbitrary, both in content and timing. In a guerilla fashion, you were supposed to take on one interview and then another, prolonging the process unnecessarily. The range and depth levels between each interview were unpredictable. This included being asked about three different coding languages, machine learning theory/statistics, software engineering practices, and coding problems (LeetCode difficulties medium to hard). I received a hard coding problem and was given only 25 minutes, instead of the Google-style 45 minutes. The worst part was the feedback handling. I had to reach out myself after the maximum period they gave themselves to decide on the hiring decision, just to receive a "No."
What is the actual definition of the p-value?
