Software Engineer III • Current Employee

Pros: Large company with a lot of room for movement between groups. Solid dominance in the market, resulting in relatively secure employment during tough times. Plenty of flexibility in work schedule, including part- and full-time telecommuting (depending on your group).

Cons: Bureaucracy, unnecessary shortage of testing resources sometimes, resulting in wasted work hours when the right hardware would have saved so much time. Promotions do not necessarily result in raises.
