Process

The interview process began with a short behavioral phone screen, followed by a technical phone screen conducted through Karat. The questions asked were LeetCode Easy level.

Moving to the onsite portion, it started with a company introduction before proceeding to three interviews:

  • System Design: This interview was straightforward, with no highly complex requirements.
  • Debugging: The debugging task was quite simple, utilizing the provided IntelliJ and Java environment.
  • Coding Round: This round involved LeetCode Medium questions, and no advanced data structures or algorithms were required.

Overall, the interviewers were very friendly.

Questions

Consider a simple card game where the winner of each round is whoever has the highest card after drawing from the top of their hand. On ties, draw four cards from hand and compare the fourth card. The round winner takes all cards on the table. Players lose when they have no cards, down to one winner. Implement the game.
