I was approached for the role. The interview consisted of one phone conversation, which covered basic Java tuning questions, followed by an onsite interview with five rounds.
The questions covered various topics, including:
- Coding to an interface
- Selecting appropriate data structures for a specific problem
- Web application scaling
- Distributed architecture
They proceeded with the background check, but did not extend an offer even after everything was cleared. I reached out to them later to discover they were not moving forward with my candidacy.
