A recruiter reached out to me to apply for a job. I went through the process, and the recruiter was very helpful and kind. I had an initial interview with two supervisors. As per my recruiter, "they loved me." I then did an assessment that consisted of finding bugs. After that assessment was done, I was told I would hear back within 2-3 business days if they wanted to move forward with the final interview. But to our surprise, it was 'crickets,' as one would say. I followed up and reached out, but I did not hear back for almost a week and a half. The recruiter finally gave me a call, and the call was very rushed. All they said was, "They gave me no reason as to why they are not moving forward. They just decided to pass." The process was very unprofessional in my opinion, especially compared to the interview questions they were asking me. Something is not adding up.
What did I learn when I described a situation that did not go our way?
