I really enjoy my team and the people I work with. The hybrid schedule we have been on has been wonderful; however, it's ending in January.
There hasn’t been a lot going well lately. We were given the news just a couple weeks before Christmas that we would be returning to the office full-time after being reassured many times that we would be sticking with the option of a one-day-in-office hybrid schedule. We are expected to make huge changes in our lives with just a month's notice.
Many of us are struggling with this major change, and it’s clear upper management does not care at all. People with families, disabilities, and those who have moved further from the office are not being accommodated in the slightest.
We were all blindsided by this, and the answers we are all getting for why this is happening are emotionless, shallow, "nothing" answers meant to get us off their backs. There’s an attitude of “get out or get used to it.”
“A company has values and people have values, and sometimes those values don’t align” keeps being said as a cop-out for any accountability from the company. These are people’s lives that they are screwing with, and it’s heartless the way they are acting.
Employees who are already in the office five days a week, or who would have been absolutely okay with returning to the office had it been handled with more care, are also looking for a new place to work. People are being let go who are too vocal.
This whole ordeal has caused such a loss of trust for all of us. Paycom loves to say ‘we care,’ but how they continue to not listen to any of us, it’s clear they don’t actually. I’m not surprised they waited until after making the Oklahoma’s Top Workplaces list to announce this to all of us.
It sucks here.
Listen to your employees. Do better.
I made it to round two, and then they went ghost on me. They just didn't respond to me or tell me I didn't make it to the next round. The interview people are terrible and not qualified to be management.
Three rounds of interviewing: online competency test, followed by two in-person technical interviews - the last of which was on the Paycom campus. Very smooth process, and great communication throughout.
Two rounds of interviews: 1. On-campus 2. On-site The on-campus interview was technical. The on-site interview was behavioral, with very basic technical questions. They likely judged your technical ability in the first round itself, and for the sec
