Submitted the resume online. Got a phone interview. Questions ranged from OOPs concepts to a couple of programming questions:
- Find if a string is a palindrome.
- Find if a number is prime or not.
Got an onsite interview after 2 days. Had 2 hours of 1:1 interviews. Questions covered dynamic programming and bit manipulation.

Building Bridges problem: Cities on two ends, connect them.
Balanced Partition problem.
Reverse a byte.
Find if a byte is a palindrome or not.
Swap consecutive bits in a byte.

Pros: Good benefits. The stock has been a good performer, so ESPP/RSU is valuable. Flexible schedule. Can work from home when needed.
Cons: Management only focused on favorites.
Easy to get overlooked.
A meeting-happy culture wastes lots of time.
Internal transfers seem to be discouraged.
Heavy process around almost any activity.
No effort to develop team spirit or culture.
Most managers and employees' main focus is making sure they come out looking good, even at the expense of others.

Pros: I thankfully didn’t get laid off.
Cons: I now have the looming threat of being laid off because the CEO said the layoffs happened without regard for performance or impact to teams. Some very high performers with ownership of projects were let go without warning in a 7% layoff at the beginning of 2023. Happy new year.
