I rarely write reviews, but this one annoyed me the most.
Round 1: HM call Round 2: System Design (1hr) + Coding (1hr)
The interviewer for System Design was the most obnoxious person I've ever met. I wish I could name him here. He was definitely not senior enough to understand what I was saying. The worst part is he was busy on his phone; twice I had to bring his attention back to what I was saying. The third time, I just shut up. I stopped talking, and it took him a whole minute to realize that I was staring blankly at his face. He tried to cover up with, "Oh, I lost connection..." No, you did not. I could see your eyes roll with whatever you were distracted with. Terrible!
Coding round was good. However, Plaid, don't be so cheap and make candidates set up IDEs. I was given boilerplate code over Google Meet Chat and then asked to email the completed code. Annoying!
