I applied online. The process took one week.
- Applied online through a job board.
- Got asked for a phone screen with the recruiter.
During the interview, the recruiter both accused me of using AI (I'm neurodiverse and so need to take moments to stop and collect my thoughts, and that was seen as an indication that I was reading from an LLM) and lectured me about not having done enough research on the company. Because of this, I sent an email after the interview explaining that I felt the interview was not done in a professional manner and that I would therefore be withdrawing my candidacy. I didn't receive an apology or any recognition of what I said, merely a "we've decided to move forward with other candidates" email.
