A recruiter contacted me. We had a brief call, and she told me what the process looks like. I asked for some time to prepare.

Then I had the first part: a short quiz consisting of two simple coding tasks and some trivia questions.

I was told that people apply for a general engineering position, but I was interested in one specific role. I was smoothly moved under a different recruiter.

Then I had five rounds of interviews:

• A specific interview about my domain knowledge (which was unique for the given role)
• Three coding interviews
• A final chat with my future manager

Everyone I met during the interview process was a very nice person, and honestly, I enjoyed the process. The coding interviews felt more like a friendly chat with a colleague over a specific problem than being questioned.

I was preparing using LeetCode.

The initial two coding tasks in the quiz were comparable to easy problems.

The ones in the interview were medium difficulty, though on the lower end of their difficulty.
