Pros: Good people and interesting work.

Cons: The company has grown a lot and is trying to find a new cultural identity.

Pros: solid engineering expertise adequate compensation friendly coworkers

Cons: Probably the worst office in the whole software engineering industry. I just don't see how things can be any worse. Open floor with desks set as densely as physically possible; engineering and non-engineering staff mixed together. Everybody is walking around, talking with each other or on the phone. The necessity of keeping noise and distractions down does not seem to cross anyone's mind. Yet the office attendance is mandatory. Every day is stress and loss of productivity.

Pros: Pure has an excellent culture and great people, which is what keeps me excited to be working here. Building a distributed system in a self-contained box is no small feat, and we're solving new problems in interesting ways as well as defining new segments in the storage market. It's challenging, fun, and rewarding.

Cons: The company is growing and markets are changing, and the way we used to do business previously won't work in the future. We will have to continuously adapt as we grow and face new challenges, and it won't always be easy. But looking at how successfully we adapted to the pandemic and the hurdles it brought, I'm optimistic in our future.
