Process

The interview process involved:

  • A 1-hour technical phone interview (CV screening + basic technical questions).
  • A half-day onsite interview with 4 one-on-one rounds (45 minutes each) with team leads and the department manager.

The phone interview lasted approximately one hour with the DSP algorithms and drivers lead. It focused on fixed-point math, Q format for fixed-point representation, and general telecommunications questions.

Following the phone interview, I was invited onsite. The onsite portion lasted nearly half a day and included 4 distinct rounds:

  • One-on-one interviews with each team lead (FW, algorithms, systems).
  • An interview with the department manager.

The onsite session began with a presentation of my work at my previous company. Topics covered included telecommunications aspects, focusing on equalization and GSM standard techniques, basic C knowledge, and comparisons of equalization algorithms.
