Process

I handed in my resume during Qualcomm's office hours at our university.

After two weeks, they sent me an invitation to an on-campus interview.

There were two interviewers, both engineers.

The interview consisted of two sections, each lasting 45 minutes.

Questions

  1. Personal projects

  2. C++ (linked lists, virtual functions)

  3. Design an FSM to find the sequence 0100.

  4. How does an amplifier work? (Gain, feedback)

  5. Describe one .tcl file I just wrote. What is it for?

  6. Digital logic concepts: setup time, hold time, clock gating, low-power design.

  7. The difference between IIR and FIR. Write a Verilog module for FIR.
