  • Uncompetitive salaries; pay is mediocre at best

  • Stagnant management with not a lot of advancement opportunity
  • No raises in 18+ months
  • Culture is "Work long hours, keep your head down, don't ask questions, and be glad you didn't get laid off."
Advice to Management

In the all-hands meetings, you keep talking about wanting to stop the exodus and attract top talent, but you offer sub-standard pay and a lamentable benefits package.

No one is working long hours out of the goodness of their hearts, and no one is working 50-hour weeks because they love the technology. The talent is fleeing this company because the company no longer does anything that attracts talent.
