I was initially contacted through an external recruiter and went into the first phone screening interview. The interviewer forgot the call and had to call back my recruiter so that we could proceed with the interview, one hour later. Nonetheless, the guy was friendly, and we had a very broad and general 25-minute talk about technology and the company.

I was scheduled for a second round one week later with four interviewers. The first interviewer talked about the company and life in Utah, very casual and sympathetic. The second interviewer talked about technology, my skill set, and experience; again, very friendly. The third interviewer asked me to write code. He had all the trouble in the world figuring out how to set up the screen-sharing app. Fifteen minutes later, he asked a technical question that I thought I did pretty well on. However, he looked uninterested and cold. The last interviewer was from HR, and it lasted five minutes. The second round lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes in total.

I was a bit confident coming out of this interview. Overall, the people were friendly (except one), and the outcome was unexpected, so I have mixed feelings about this company.

The coding question was hard to understand at first, but coding it was pretty straightforward. He didn't ask a lot about performance, memory, optimizations, so I guess I didn't talk enough about that.
